We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges <b>and building trusted relationships with customers</b>.</p><p></p><p>As a <b>Remote Support Engineer</b>, you’ll be the first line of help for our customers — delivering exceptional service and ensuring they get the most out of Philips products. You’ll support users across the DACH and EU regions, focusing on our <b>Patient Care and Cardiology Informatics solutions</b>.</p><p>This role is at the heart of our <b>customer support operations</b>, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve both our products and the overall customer experience.</p><h2></h2><p><b>Location:</b> Preferably Eindhoven (NL) or Vienna (AT) — remote work possible from any EU country with a Philips office (such as Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Spain, Portugal).</p><p></p><h2>Your role</h2><ul><li><p>Provide remote support for over 200 customers, resolving technical issues efficiently and empathetically.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and analyze software and hardware incidents following standard Philips procedures.</p></li><li><p>Escalate critical or complex cases to senior experts when needed.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and continuously grow your expertise.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to our knowledge base and share best practices with global support teams.</p></li><li><p>Ensure every customer interaction reflects Philips’ commitment to quality and care.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><p></p><h2>You are the right fit if:</h2><ul><li><p><b>Fluent German</b> (mandatory) and good English communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience in customer-facing technical support roles.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</p></li><li><p>Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of<b> Microsoft SQL Server, DICOM, HL7, T-SQL,</b> or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).</p></li><li><p>ITIL Foundation certification and prior technical work on ISCV / XPER / IBE will be an added advantage.</p></li><li><p>A collaborative, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>How we work together</b><br />We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
