<h3>Job Title</h3>Internship Digital Network Traffic Analyzer - MR<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><b>Your role:</b></p><p><span>The Philips MRI system has a central scan control computer with a real-time operating system. The scan control computer controls four subsystems via individual optical link which are: Transmit chain link, Receive Chain link, Gradient Chain link and Reconstructor Link. In case errors occur, the Digital Network Traffic Analyzer is helping to diagnose the problem.</span></p><ul><li><p>Work on a complex product in a complex organization.</p></li><li><p>Acquire an in-depth understanding of the real-time control aspects of MR hardware and of the network communication protocols.</p></li><li><p>Translate ‘vague’ ideas in smart requirements.</p></li><li><p>Build prototypes to validate requirements.</p></li><li><p>Build a FPGA application on existing hardware with embedded processor and Python.</p></li><li><p>Learn how to use new tools like Vivado, Matlab, Ruby, Python, Questasim.</p></li><li><p><span>Project planning agreed with stakeholders</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implementation prototype solution on FPGA platform with Embedded software User Interface</span></p></li><li><p><span>Project Documentation </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>You're the right fit if:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>We’re looking for a curious and motivated <u>final </u>year (so you are in the last phase of your study) </span><b>Master</b><span> or <b>Bachelor student</b></span><b> in <span>Computer sciences or</span><span> Electrical Engineering </span></b></p></li><li><p><span>You are e</span><span>ager to learn, good listening skills, s</span><span>elf-motivated and o</span><span>pen-minded </span></p></li><li><p><span>You have experience with </span><span>VHDL, </span><span>FPGA programming and s</span><span>cript programming (e.g. Python)</span></p></li><li><p><span>English language skills</span></p></li><li><p></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>How we work together</b></p><p>We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.</p><ul><li><p>Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.</p></li><li><p>Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.</p></li><li><p>Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net</p></li><li><p>Paid holidays per internship term.</p></li><li><p>The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About Philips</b><br />We are a health technology company.
