With you as Senior Bond Originator Financial Institutions, you can strengthen Rabobank’s market position by further developing the FI DCM franchise and enabling a growing client base to be a premier Capital Markets provider and a trusted Advisor and Bookrunner for our Financial Institutions (FI) clients.

You & Your Role

As Senior Bond Originator FI DCM, you can make the difference by delivering the highest level of service to our FI clients on relevant Capital Markets products and transform market opportunities to real business cases together with the team.

• Taking direct client responsibility together with the other originators in the team, leading transactions as deal captain and establishing and maintaining client contacts.


• Keeping abreast of regulatory and sustainability developments. You are aware of the latest market developments and can translate these into client opportunities.


• Ensure a positive, strong team culture.

Top Responsibilities

• Executing transactions on high profile strategic DCM mandates as Bookrunner for Rabobank’s Banking and Insurance clients.


• Acting as a knowledge-driven and high-quality sparring partner for our internal and external clients.


• Jointly improve the FI DCM Origination efforts, including achieving the P&L target as set for the team initiating plans to grow the business focusing on new products and regions.

The members of the Capital Markets Bonds Origination team are responsible for servicing our FI DCM clients and securing mandates. Collaboration is our way of working; as one results-driven team within Rabobank.

You & Your Talent

• A completed Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Law, Economics or Econometrics


• 8+ years of relevant (Debt) Financial Markets experience


• Skilled in with PowerPoint, Excel, Bloomberg


• Deep knowledge of Financial Markets Products and broad Capital Markets knowledge


• Thorough commercial skills, preferably experience with execution of strategic funding transactions


• Strong analytical skills, capable to initiate, negotiate and conclude mandates for capital markets transactions


• Result and quality driven and an energetic networker with good relationship skills


• Fluent in written and spoken English + one additional language (Dutch, German or French)


• Strong personality – high commitment to personal growth and career development


• Curiosity! Willingness to learn, create own ideas
