Master's thesis is Way of Working: Quantifying User Stories (Project Ontzorg de zorg)

<p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Balancing detail in user stories is often a challenge. This thesis defines a model to improve user stories by analyzing existing ones using criteria such as tasks, bugs, and related stories created during development. With a feedback loop to ensure adaptability, the model aims to streamline processes and enhance software delivery.</strong></p><strong></strong><p></p><p><strong><strong><strong><strong>💡</strong></strong></strong>Areas of Interest:&nbsp;</strong>Requirements, Machine learning, Text mining</p><p></p><p>This master’s thesis is part of the graduation project <a href="https://carriere.infosupport.com/ontzorg-de-zorg/">'Ontzorg de zorg, zorg voor jezelf!'</a>. This project gives the healthcare sector a digital boost through automation and data analysis, allowing caregivers to spend more time with patients while enabling patients to take control of their personal health data.</p>

<p>When working on projects, it often proves challenging to write user stories that strike the right balance providing neither too much nor too little information for developers. Although user stories may seem clear during refinement, new questions frequently arise during development. Addressing these questions consumes significant time and resources. A solution is needed to streamline the process and support faster, higher-quality software delivery.</p><p></p><h2>The Assignment</h2><p></p><p>In this study, you will define a model for creating effective user stories based on previously developed ones. Criteria that could be used to quantify these user stories are the amount of tasks, bugs, blocked states, related stories that are created while the user story is under active development. Prove that the defined model is actually helping to create good user stories by implementing a feedback loop to make the model suited for use in different projects.</p><p></p><ul>
