The role
This position offers the opportunity to drive financial decision making within Booking.com. You will be required to provide strong financial and analytical support to your business unit (BU) or department’s stakeholders. You will have to bridge what the data tell you and how that could help decision-making on a wide array of topics. You will be supporting the planning and forecasting cycles for both financial and operational business metrics. This includes revenues, expenses and other important KPIs; it also includes non-financial metrics and driver metrics of performance. You will also be involved in reporting versus budget and forecast and support on ad-hoc analyses whenever there is a need from the business.
As Senior Manager of FP&A, Forecasting & Business Steering for Accommodations, you own the consolidated forecasting, Accommodations drivers insights, analytics and performance measurement agenda for the Accommodation organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, Accommodations and Marketing, you provide robust financial guidance to senior leadership, enabling strategic decisions, investments, and target setting. You lead a team covering accommodation-wide forecasting drivers, performance reviews, trend identification, and scenario modelling. You will support business steering for LT and steering committees, spearhead improvements in forecasting accuracy and consistency, and drive cross-unit analytical initiatives.
This role is also crucial in providing timely and relevant insights to the corporate FP&A team and Marketing FP&A team regarding the preparation of Offline forecasts, target settings, Commercial board scenario planning etc.
Furthermore, and to get more deeper insights into Accommodations regional performance, the Senior Manager ABU Forecasting and Business steering will provide day to day guidance and leadership to the EMEA and AMR Senior Financial analysts while coordinating with the Senior Manager Regional performance in Singapore who will be the Subject Matter Expert on anything process related and best practice sharing.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the ABU forecasting process with regards to expectations for the topline drivers through robust analytics. Provide scenario analysis to support the decision making and incorporate feedback into the submission
Responsible to ensure that the ABU forecast is incorporated into the FP&A systems and variances/ analyses and narratives aiming to explain changes, are shared with FP&A Corporate and Booking Holdings teams
Lead the development, execution and continuous improvement of ABU Accommodation forecasting processes (P&L, operational KPIs), including the alignment with the regional MDs.
Provide in-depth performance analysis, trend identification, and scenario planning to support strategic decision making.
Consolidate insights from across business units for leadership, Booking Holdings and board reports; translate data into actionable recommendations.
Drive alignment on financial targets, methodologies, and performance metrics across Accommodation.
Support analytical deep-dives on growth drivers, investment proposals, or business model innovation.
Actively contribute to the transformation of FP&A digital tools and practices—promoting automation, standardization, and best-practice analytics.
Act as day-to-day FP&A partner to senior business owners within ABU and drive performance steering across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar (preferred).
8+ years’ experience in senior FP&A, forecasting or business analytics roles.
Strong understanding of financial processes in a complex, international environment.
Proven track record delivering board-quality analysis and business recommendations.
Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills; comfortable synthesizing large data sets.
Passion for process improvement and driving innovation in FP&A.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management experience.
Ability to work flexibly, managing both strategic and tactical priorities.
