Do you love building smart and scalable backend solutions? At Incontrol, we’re expanding our development team and are looking for a Backend Developer who wants to make real impact in a fast-growing SaaS scale-up.

To become the leading full-cycle inspection platform, enabling inspectors, building owners and installers to manage the entire process – from planning to execution, recording and solving findings, all the way to reporting – digitally and efficiently.

Our headquarters are located in Amersfoort, the Netherlands – only 40 minutes by train to Amsterdam and 10 minutes to Utrecht. With a strong position in the Netherlands and ambitions to expand into Germany, we are scaling fast. Innovation, quality and customer success are at the heart of everything we do.

What you will do

As a Backend Developer you will work on the core of our platform, ensuring that our software is secure, scalable and future-proof. Together with our Product and Tech teams, you will translate ideas into solid code and new features.

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services (APIs, databases, integrations)


• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners and QA to deliver end-to-end features


• Write clean, maintainable and testable code


• Ensure performance, security and reliability across our services


• Contribute to architectural decisions as we scale internationally


• Continuously improve our processes and development standards

You’re an experienced Senior Backend Developer with a passion for building scalable, high-quality SaaS products. With more than 5 years of hands-on experience, you know how to turn complex challenges into elegant solutions and you enjoy doing it in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

• Proven experience: 5+ years as a Backend Developer (full-stack knowledge is a welcome bonus).


• Technical expertise: Deep skills in C#/.NET, ASP.NET, Lit Elements, Typescript, Angular, event-driven architecture, JWT/OAuth, and Entity Framework.


• API & data know-how: Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases.


• DevOps mindset: Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.


• Problem solver: Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable in a scale-up culture.


• Communication: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written

Practical details

• Location: Sevilla, Spain (hybrid – you work remotely most of the time, with regular meetups in Sevilla, Spain or Amersfoort, the Netherlands)


• Onboarding: First 2 weeks in the Netherlands at our HQ in Amersfoort for full onboarding and team integration (travel and stay covered by Incontrol)


• Employment: Full-time


• Salary: Competitive, based on your experience
