Tiago Varandas

Over Tiago

Senior Product Designer and Design Lead with 10+ years of experience creating digital products, platforms and brands. I help teams turn complex problems into clear, intuitive and high-quality user experiences, from early product strategy and research through UX/UI, prototyping, design systems and final delivery. I’ve worked across AI, FinTech, Web3/DeFi, healthcare and sustainability, collaborating with startups, scale-ups and international organisations. My recent work includes five years designing products within the MakerDAO/Sky ecosystem, AI healthcare products for Healthplus.ai, and other digital platforms. I’m comfortable joining at any stage: defining a new product from 0→1, improving an existing experience, establishing a design system, or providing senior design leadership. I work primarily in Figma and increasingly use AI-native workflows to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping and delivery.
