I'm a Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience building and running large-scale data platforms, currently focused on modernizing legacy data infrastructure for a financial services and fleet management client — migrating from Oracle to Snowflake and from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, while keeping mission-critical pipelines running without disruption. What I work on day to day: Designing and executing Oracle-to-Snowflake data migrations, including schema conversion, data validation, and cutover planning Building automated reconciliation frameworks that compare source and target datasets at scale and flag discrepancies before they become production issues Re-engineering ETL/ELT workflows in Informatica (PowerCenter and IDMC) to be more maintainable, observable, and cost-efficient Troubleshooting complex production issues across Oracle and Informatica environments — the kind of problems that only show up under real data volume and real deadlines Before this, I spent several years in production support and ETL development, which taught me to think about data engineering the way an SRE thinks about uptime: assume things will break, build in the checks that catch it early, and know how to fix it fast when they do. Core stack: Oracle, Snowflake, Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC, SQL, Python, SAP BI.
