Senior Data Architect and independent IT consultant with over 20 years of experience specialising in Microsoft SQL Server, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and enterprise data solutions. I design, build, optimise and support data platforms from end to end — from requirements gathering and data architecture through dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT, database development, performance optimisation, reporting and production support. My core expertise includes SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Power BI. I have designed and built enterprise Data Warehouses from the ground up, led BI and Data teams, delivered on-premises-to-Azure migrations and worked with complex, high-volume and regulated environments. I currently work as an independent consultant and particularly welcome remote, part-time and project-based engagements, typically 2–3 days per week. I am based in Malta (EU) and can support clients internationally, with travel when required.
