For me, every meaningful product, service or brand begins by finding its core. Not a tagline, a feature set or a business objective, but the fundamental idea that gives it purpose and allows everything else to grow naturally. Once that core is clear, I help build the foundation around it. From there, concepts, products, services and experiences become coherent expressions of the same idea rather than isolated solutions. The result isn't just consistency. It's something that feels authentic, recognisable and alive. For more than 25 years I've worked at the intersection of concept development, brand experience, product strategy and UX. My background combines graphic design, art direction, product design and design leadership, enabling me to move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on creation. I've helped organisations such as ABN AMRO, Deloitte, Philips, Rabobank, KPN and the Dutch Government transform complex challenges into products and services that people understand, trust and enjoy using. Brands, products and services that create a human dialogue with. Whether leading product discovery, shaping a brand/design vision, developing new propositions or coaching design teams, my focus is always the same: uncover the essence first, then let everything else grow from there. I enjoy bringing people together around a shared idea, connecting business ambitions with customer needs and translating complex business talk into empathic and clear human dialogue.
