Business Analyst - Functional analyst with experience in mainframe

We are looking for a Finance-savvy Business Analyst / Functional Analyst with strong experience in Mainframe environments to join our dynamic IT team. You will act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring financial processes are optimized and aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.

Your role in our team
Analyze and document business requirements for financial applications and processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications.
Work closely with development teams on Mainframe-based systems to ensure accurate implementation.
Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and propose solutions for system enhancements.
Support testing phases (functional, integration, UAT) and ensure quality delivery.
Provide expertise on financial workflows, compliance, and reporting requirements.

How you strengthen our team
Proven experience as Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in Finance/Banking.
Strong knowledge of Mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2).
Understanding of financial processes (accounting, payments, settlements, etc.).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work in agile or hybrid project environments.

Nice to Have:

Experience with modernization projects (Mainframe to Cloud).
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (IFRS, Basel, etc.).
Familiarity with API integration and digital transformation initiatives.
