Business analyst - Functional analyst- Finance (Payments)

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Payments to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless delivery of payment solutions that meet regulatory, operational, and customer needs.

Your role in our team
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for payment systems.
Process Analysis: Map current payment processes and propose improvements aligned with industry best practices.
Solution Design: Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with relevant payment regulations (e.g., PSD2, SEPA, SWIFT).
Testing & Validation: Support UAT and system integration testing to guarantee quality and accuracy.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor payment trends and recommend enhancements to maintain competitive advantage.

How you strengthen our team
Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of payment systems (SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, instant payments) and related standards.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex processes and propose efficient solutions.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, and payment platforms.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of PSD2, AML, and other compliance requirements.
Tools: Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and modeling techniques (UML, BPMN).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience in banking or fintech environments.
Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards.
Agile methodology experience.
